Welcome to ME!

Well, everyone has to start somewhere, and believe it or not, this is my second attempt in an hour...

My first attempt had a lovely introduction about why I'm called Neo and was overly descriptive.

Let us start with the TLDR; Neo, Matrix, Neology, Likes new things...

Now the lazy people are out of the way and had their fix of "as much info in as little time as possible", let's get into this second attempt...

My name is Andrew, but here on the interwebs, People call me Neo, now and again people may see me with the name Neology (9 times out of 10, this is because the name "Neo" was taken, although it was becoming less common, which for me, is a good thing. I was a bit concerned when the new matrix movie was coming out there'd be a new tidal wave of "Neo's" flooding the internet... Crisis adverted).

Neo is the Main Character from the Matrix, but let's be fair, he's a boring guy with less emotion than Siri. He was okay in the first movie, but what actually drew me in was that code, the falling green characters in a dark terminal. That was cool, 1999 and my wallpaper was quite literally that.

The coolest part of the Matrix

Now, I see myself as more of a "Neo" of "Neology"... Neo is Greek for New, Ology is a branch of knowledge, like Sociology, Psychology or Criminology.

For me, Neology is my fascination with new Technology... It's at this point I've realised that this "Welcome to Me!" is more detailed than the last... but, continue I shall.

Technology evolves daily, There are things being invented right now that are way ahead of what anyone thought possible, yet, we still don't have hoverboards (and no, those deathtraps on 2 wheels side by side are not hoverboards, the only thing hovering around those is that voice in your head saying "don't FALL!").

My biggest aspiration is something like Ready Player One... Imagine a world where technology and life are interconnected, Reality and Virtual reality... Alas, that's another post...

Well, now you know, Neo, is Me. Just not the sad depressed one sitting on a bench...
